This padded cell in B-wing of Crumlin Gaol was converted in 1934. I'm sure alot of prisoners where thrown into it for all misdemeanors during their time here. On my visit, which was at night, I noticed the cell floor sloped off to the sides and slightly higher in the middle. It did smell a bit, but now that the Gaol has been restored to a museum i'm sure this has been cleaned up. Which reminds me i must take the tour.
