St. Owen's Church
#184 - 365
St. Owen's Church of Ireland is in the small village of Ballymore and was built around 1827. It now stands roofless and in a ruin state. The graveyard has several mainly 19th century graves. The shape and size of St. Owen's Church are typical of the large number of churches built in Ireland between 1808 and 1830 with the assistance of loans and grants from the Board of First Fruits. Inside I found it very overgrown with ivy and other vegetation along with the graveyard in knee deep grass. For what graves i saw protruding there was some interesting carvings and features.
