Carrowcroey Cottages
This is one of those small finds while out driving country lanes looking for abandonments to photograph, not all are usually worth stopping, but I’ve found recently that I’m drawn to these as they are mostly forgotten about altogether. These two are an example of those finds.
I also found an old wireless valve radio which sat on the shelf where it was probably there from new.
The remains of a travel trunk, I wonder what it held and where it travelled to.
And also a old picture of a young girl sitting on the windowsill.
Not many items left but I did see a framed certificate still hanging proudly on the wall from the girl’s friendly society, which looking up at it, it’s still going after 150 years.
